I
am a bit of a kid in a candy store when I travel, getting to look at
all the local flora. You can often tell what's going on in the
spiritual climate of an area, by what is on the land. I particularly
like looking at the invasive species lists. The flowers that grow in an
area are often a mirror of the oppression that the people in an area
face.
This year, I've been out to California and Coastal
Washington, where they have Scotch Broom like crazy. What's
interesting about Scotch Broom, is that it was imported to "stabilize
the land." When they created roads, they planted it along the sides
because its root system would hold the hillside in place, but it spread
and is a really big tough weed now. But the thing about Scotch Broom
is that it fights that doom and gloom mindset, particularly as it
relates to world events. There has been a lot said, both on the science
side, as well as the prophetic side regarding the West coast,
earthquakes, devastation and predicting the entire coastal area will
wind up in the sea. Scotch Broom as a flower essence heals the mindset
of the doomsayers, those with a negative world outlook, those who
watch too much news, by restoring positivity.
Obviously
God's heart is not to sink the west coast and kill millions of
people. We want to be careful what we come into agreement with because
that can influence our reality. Scotch Broom may be there to uplift
the people in that area and keep that doom mentality in check. I'm not
saying it's coming from the people who choose to live there, as much as
from those who don't. In doing so, it may be "stabilizing the land" in
the spiritual context, by putting out positivity, faith and optimism
to those who are there. In other words, acting as a sunny inoculation against that kind of negative thinking.
I
don't mean to have a completely Pollyanna mindset toward the reality
of fault lines and seismic activity, just that there should be balance.
Prudence and emergency planning has a place, but there are
personalities that have a morbid attraction toward apocalyptic events.
We need to have optimism and hope, not despair over things we cannot
control. Get a hold of some Scotch Broom essence and let it's golden
light transform your world view.
